I don't like transactions where someone has a NMC. Okposo holds all the cards so it's not possible to trade him unless he says so. I'm also unsure as to how Calgary would fit in his salary to their team.

Buffalo/Carolina likely 2 teams not going to make the playoffs, both looking for a deal that helps them going forward. If I'm Carolina I put a lottery protected 1st in 18, replaced by 19 1st but I see that as a fair overall trade in terms of value. Don't know what else you were thinking going down the list but don't see anything as reasonable.

I think Calgary might have interest in Okposo, but Brouwer is going the other way for sure..... to make the cap, but man oh man he's signed until 2023... probably won't be happening.

Lol this is silly, there is zero chance anyone outside Buffalo thinks ROR is worth Noah Hanifin. Hes has gotten better and better.....not to mention just made the All-Star game at 21 years old. His potential is SKY HIGH where as ROR you already know what you're getting. No way the canes trade a potential #1 D for a guy 5 years older with a much larger contract. May as well just give Hanifin that money and keep him long term. If you want Faulk that's a different story, similar age and term and all the reports about Faulk being garbage this year are vastly misinformed. He is playing the exact same way he always has, and better defensively in some regards his shots just havent went in this year.
