Guys, do you ever look at whose posting the AGM before commenting? I don't think AnthonyNeeVee has ever posted a quasi realistic AGM since joining. I don't think he's looking to be realistic with these......

Lol, ya there are a few i avoid. Shipton19 is tops on my list. I am not familiar with this poster so...my bad. Well.. his really.

Yeah not excusing anything for anyone but the amount of negativity on this site towards "bad" AGM's is starting to feel like a "circle jerk" sometimes. I actually think there are some who are actively looking for bad AGM's to comment on to continue their addictions......

My goal is to help them better understand player value and team needs so they understand why their team does what it does or doesn’t do. Sometimes i offer honest critique. Sometimes it’s short and simple. Sometimes it’s snarky or funny. If it opens up a dialogue with the poster i’ll go from there. If they become combative and defensive then i realize it’s pointless. Most fans overestimate the value of the players on their favorite team or players they happen to like on other teams. Can’t separate emotion from business. Not saying i’m always spot on, after all opinions vary.

Yup I love this mentality! I too try and follow this path.

Its just hard sometimes seeing unrealistic AGM's being made and the 1st five comments are one star flamings of how bad MTL fans overrate their players....... No its not "MTL fans", its certain people only. The thing that gets annoying is these commentors who say they are trying to help OP understand player value better, etc. keep going back for more each time that person posts a new AGM and each time ramps up the snarky negative comments and switches to directly aiming them at "Habs fans" in general as a result.

Agreed. But take heart...it’s all fan bases. Nature of being a fan.
