Your proposed trade by the Leafs of Reilly and Nylander would probably go down as one of the worst trades in Leafs history and cost the Leafs GM his job and cause him to be run out of the city by outraged fans if approved. The Leafs trade makes no sense for the Leafs. There is no chance the Leafs trade Reilly, a potential top 10 defenceman in NHL and Nylander, a potential franchise player for the package you are suggesting. Thanks to Marc Bergavin, the most incompetent GM in the NHL, the Canadians are weak at centre ice, weak on defence and have one of the worst prospect pools in the NHL. As a result, the Habs have limited prospects and players to actually make any significant trade. The team's only solution is to fire Bergavin and start the rebuild now instead of wasting another 3 years trying to continue to fool their fans. Do not worry about Bergavin as he is part of the old boys club and he will find a new home on another team run by another equally incompetent GM.
