Just for fun so I'll play devils advocate - I would do both of these trades. laugh

No one player in the league is worth all those pieces together. Obviously impossible because of the cap but all things aside, I'd do it if it was possible if lets say their was no cap or it was 85M roughly.


Toronto's defense instantly becomes:

Reilly - Gardiner
OEL - Zaitsev
Chychrun - Hjarlmarsson
Hainsey
Carrick

Edmontons:

OEL - Larsson
Klefbom - Hjarlmarsson
Chychrun - Nurse
Russell
Sekera

The offense would be too silly to actually show. The 3rd and 4th lines would be as good as other team's top line............... I guarantee that team would be closer to a cup than both those teams with Matthews or McDavid.
