Not enough for Patches. The extra year holds a lot of value.

Pettersson looked nice in the AHL game I saw him in, but he didn't come off to me as a no doubt top-6 guy FWD. The 2020 2nd is too far off to help MTL any time soon.

Sure, this could be considered fair value if Pacioretty had always produced like he's produced this year, but that's not the case. Pacioretty's past production is just a notch below elite, and he wouldn't go for nearly this little

Fair value would be Kevin Fiala, 1st and Trevor Murphy (proven AHLer, no idea if he is gonna translate it to NHL) I assume. Pacioretty would be 35+ sniper with Nashville count with that.
