Drouin for Hamilton... Tampa gets certainty in the back end with Coburn a UFA and Hedman a UFA in 2017. Calgary gets the potential of Drouin and don't have to overpaid Hudler to remain in Calgary next year.

Better deal than mine from a Calgary standpoint for sure. I change mine to Hudler for a Blackhawks 1st rounder. He's a rental so I wouldn't give up more than that.

Hudler has had only one real good year in the NHL, last year. This year 5 goals, 15 points in 35 games. Probably more value out there for a 1st rounder.

What other LWers are available? I'd prefer Boedker, but a 1st alone won't get close to Drouin. Don't want to give up too much of the future.

exo2769: Who knows what it's going to like at deadline time, but there are so many teams in playoff contention now, who might be sellers or buyers? Other UFA LW might be Ladd, Tanguay, Perron and Versteeg. Could be a thin trading market, and as I have told Ranger fans...."Just love the team the way they are, because maybe no changes are available." (3 Cups in 6 years makes the Hawks very loveable to their fans.....even some non Hawk fans).
