Nice attempt with that Amac deal but sorry youre stuck with that plug, Avs are not taking on more Cap hit just for a 2nd round pick.

Well I wouldn't have tried it a week ago but Hextall seems to be pulling rabbits out of his hat lately. Also dont overlook the Avs get a decent 4th line cheap winger and we also take a plug (older mind you) back.

Avs have plenty of bottom 6 winger depth right now, younger and cheaper than. A team that has been setting up their cap situation for next season to sign MacKinnon and Barrie to their big deals wouldnt be wise taking on more cap and contract length. Its not a bad deal in theory just not the one the Avs would want to take. The flames deal is more into the Avs targets

Hello mcivitella: When I saw your explanation, I was looking for a rebuild. Well getting Stajan doesn't help and unless the Flyers have given up on Laughton, two 2nd rounders don't help that much. Calgary is one team that doesn't need Dmen (Streit)
Same with the Ducks...they have Dmen too and a 2nd/3rd for Schultz might be steep, and Gagner is a non factor as anyone could have picked up on waivers for free. Like the Florida trade (if I'm a Flyer) just to get rid of Voracek's) contract. Really don't know if he's tradable now except to the Kings where he can join Luke and Vinny.

The Streit trade can not happen the way you did it anyway, You can only have 3 total at any one time to retain salary and Philly is already at there limit. I don't think Schultz/ Gagner will get that kind of return, Voracek is not going anywhere, I'm ok giving up Laughton but not that deal, Simmonds is are only hard grit playing scorer think he stays too.

I can deal with constructive criticism and lively debates but LMFAO and 800 exclamations points I can't. Why don't you try having a conversation and/or a discussion it makes it so much more interesting. And remember this is just for fun.
