Patch is a good guy and good scorer for a youngster team that could helpto fill the gap and mostly create new chemistry. With a good passer he can raise to another level and help this team.

As a wings fan I say absolutely not. First of all we don't have the cap space for this kind of deal so unless your taking back helm or dekeyser, it's impossible. 2nd wings need a massive rebuild and we aren't about to trade our first pick we got in the top 10 in the last 30 years for an almost 30 year old whose a ufa in 2 years. Unless your throwing in galchenyuk and julssen this deal is a no go.

I think both Detroit and Montreal say no to that. Detroit is in a rebuild as well as in cap trouble, Pacioretty doesn't make them a contender and the chances of him re-signing there are very slim. For Montreal, we could get a far better return than Rasmussen.
