Description
First of all the thing I would do is strip Pacioretty of "C" and give it to Weber who has experience with "C" on his jersey and "A"s will be given to Max, Gallagher and Drouin.

The deals for me seems pretty fair:
-Tampa gets winger for Point and for Gourde on 3rd line (Palat-Point-Lehkonen/Killorn-Gourde-Shaw) and pick for Tampas 3rd line C, that would be 1C in MTL.
-Philly gets top-6 guy in Galchenyuk who is capable of putting up 50+ points, RHD prospect and pick. MTL gets top-4 RHD prospect who can play in NHL in 18-19, salary dump (with it 2nd rounder), but player who can put up some points in bottom-6 and young W with playmaking ability (will be as equally good as Radulov was with Patch)
-Plekanec signing is just for C depth and not spending too much money in UFAs. I rather wait a year or two for Poehling (2C!), Ikonen or Vejdemo to get NHL-ready than spend 6-7 mil on C who would be good for 2-3 years (Stastny) and then be stucked with his contract forever. BTW Tavares is staying in NY. Same as Stamkos. Marchessault in VGK. I also think Danault deserves 4mil contract and he will justify it while playing with Max. Max will explode after taking C of his chest.

Lines explanation:
Forwards:
1. Drouin-Johnson-Sherbak. Young fast line. Drouin is playmaker who can find anybody and also score some goals. Johnson is the definition of C there. He wins draws and will get min 60+ pts or even more, but atleast 60. Sherbak is the goalscorer. He is not your typical goal-machine like Boeser or Ovi, but player capable of putting 25+ goals a season. And Drouin on C experiment will be over. He is many times better at wing.
2. Pacioretty-Danault-Konecny. Remember both Danault and Pacioretty with Radulov? It will have the same effect. Paciorettys production will explode after taking the "C" off. Will score atleast 35+ goals in that next season.
3. Hudon-Plekanec-Gallagher. Hudon will get more experience and stabilize his position on 3rd line LW, with Plekanec, who would be on cheaper contract (reliable 3rd line C for atleast 1 yr, will play his 1000th NHL game in MTL jersey) and could bring around 30-40 points with heart and soul of the team Gallagher, who might score around 45-50 pts (20+ goals). Next season Pleky would play on 4th line and Poehling will have be on 3rd with same wingers as Pleky.
4. Carr-Lehterä-Byron. This might be really good 4th line. Lehterä would be sh** on that line but atleast will win draws and check. After that season.. back to Europe. Carr is now PPG player, that would fastly change, but he would be really interesting to see with Byron who could still put up to 10-15 goals on 4th line and atleast 30 points.

Defence:
1. Mete-Weber. Mete will get more experienced and start to produce on great level and Weber would be still really consistent!
2. Alzner-Myers. Myers is enormous defensive talent that can stay in NHL for more than 15 years and will have be part of MTLs future. Alzner will mentor him with defensive game.
3. Jerabek-Benn. Jerabek deserves a chance to prove himself playing regularly and Benn is proven soldier of defence.

Price and Lindgren would be great goaltending duo. Lindgren would make great back-up for Price who has proven that he is no. 1 G in the world and could play great with even bad defence in front of him, imagine great defence..

Weber is not the best « captain » option for Montreal even though he have experience.

He is not good on the « talking » side and Montreal requires to have a good and present speaker. He don't like facing 20 journalists after each games. Also, Montreal fans can destroy a player's confidence if he doesn't perform correctly.. Pacioretty is a good example. A sniper shouldn't be captain in MTL. An aging Weber (with such a contract) shouldn't be either.

The best option would be a player like Gallagher. He is a fan favorite, works hard and he is well know for putting himself out there in each game. And he is not scared about facing journalists.

That is good way of thinking. Gallagher is heart and soul of the team. He would be really good captain.

That's a bad deal for Tampa. They trade the best player(you even called him a 1st line C) for two overpriced players. Bad exchange of talent, bad exchange of cap hit for Tampa.
Until you (or anybody) is the Montreal dressing room, how does anyone know Patches is a bad captain? And it's not like having Weber as captain is magically create more wins.

Just like Browns strip off C. He will be on fire and thinking about play not journalists. And Shaw was pretty good player (even comparisons with Gallagher when he arrives in MTL), he will be good on that 3rd line and score some big goals in POs, that checking line would be great. Lehkonen with Point and Palat would be really good and will put up good numbers (45+ pts)

Not sure about overpriced for Lehkonen, he's a 20 goalscorer on an entry-level deal - 839,000$ only Sticking Out Tongue Shaw is a bit overpriced but not by huge amounts, both players together make less than Johnson.

While I do agree with you, Shaw only has 7 less points than Johnson does and plays for a far worse offensive team with less minutes. I don't know where this cap dump idea of Shaw is coming from either. MTL has no problems with Shaw and he has been a good player for MTL since coming over from Chicago. A little overpaid, I agree. Its just the term that has everyone up in arms. He should of been given a 3-4 year deal not 6 year. Other than that Shaw is not a cap dump. He's been a pretty useful player who at times this year has been our best player along with Gallagher.

Secondly how is Lehkonen overpaid. He's on an ELC?..........Lehkonen is really solid player but got injured early this year. Scored 18 goals last year as a rookie.

Plus a 2nd round pick.

If I was TB I wouldn't do it either but i wouldn't say its a bad trade. Just not what TB's needs if they decide to move Johnson out for something else.

He said himself that he was not comfortable telling the team to play better because he’s having trouble with his game... A captain need to step up even if it’s not going well.. And by listening to interviews you can feel that’s it might not be the best option for him.. And people are hard on him because his game is not at a normal level and that same reason x1000 just because he’s the captain..

He’s dealing with extra pressure on him..

Montreal isn't San Jose, you don't strip a captain of his "C" and then keep him around.
Especially when he's in his prime.
Patches has got to go - yes, he's a goal scorer, but hasn't done anything this year and has already come out with the excuses - last one I heard, he is saying that he has to play more puck possession because Radulov isn't around now - what was he doing before when he was scoring 30+/year???
This guy isn't captain material.
he has to go, give the captaincy to Gallagher and PUT AG27 back at center.
