I wouldn't sign Bennett or Rittich to those lengths of deals.
Bennett is a career 25-30 point guy with grit, not the type of player you commit long term to. Might be smart to play him out like the Leafs played Kadri out. Give him a 1 year deal at a bigger raise (say $3.5M) and give him a specific role and see how he does. If he produces more like he has the potential to, sign him to a cheap, long term deal.
Rittich has had one good season in the league after struggling a lot last year. He could develop into something, but 4 years is a big risk to commit to if he doesn't. A similar guy would be Koskinen who just signed 3 years at $4.5M, but I'd still be worried about that 3rd year.
Thachuk signs for more than $7M easily. If he's long term on a 7 or 8 year deal, its closer to $8M a year. if you want around $6.5 - $7M you'd be thinking a 5 or 6 year deal like Nylander signed. Buys out less years of UFA and helps it be cheaper
