Description

Kessel trade is a tough one - obviously love him and I think they are a better team with him there but it's going to happen eventually so I am taking a shot while the hand is still hot. Get a top20 draft pick and a good center back for him and shed the cap space.

Silferberg is a pipedream, have wanted him on the Penguins since 2012 I think. Costs a lot and he is getting older, but he is a great production player on any line and can fill the Phil void for less. Could work on PP2 as well.

Was kind of shocked when Ennis went to Toronto for so cheap, he is still pretty young and incredibly fast. Deserves a raise for sure, don't know if what I offered is close but would be a good counterpart for ZAR or any bottom6 position

DeSmith definitely is proving his worth this season and will probably play 25-30 games. Would love to keep him as he continues to prove that he is a great tendy and can handle high volume shots or step up if we need him to run for a while.

Definitely want to hold onto Pettersson & Riikola. Depending on Petterssons rest of season he could be paid higher, but h'es still RFA so hopefully it's close.

Still a little bit of breathing room under the cap in case they need to bring someone in.

If you took 5 seconds to read the description I said it can be a team in the Western Conference.. Blackhawks were my selection because they are gonna sell the house since they are awful. They are going to need SOME sort of defense unless you play all 19 year olds out there

I agree, we had a reason to trade Kessel when we had a surplus of RW, but now that Sprong is gone we don't need to clear a top 9 RW position
