I agree they might not get two 2nds but i think cole is there to stay this year however i cant see where he fits longterm like unless zadorov falls off which I doubt after such a good year last year I think he is there too stay at least for this season.

As a player he is worth more than a 3rd, with his contract, yeah that hurts his value so that might be bang on. If he was a 1 year rental to the oilers. You know they would be tossing around those draft picks

I would be calling the Oilers about Nemeth. That would be an ultimate make something out of nothing for Joe. Claim a guy on waivers, build him up, play hard ball and only give him that 1 year deal just to flip him for a mid level asset

Yeah that may be a better call. Either way I’d say you could get a 2nd+ and that’s a win.
