Description
Leafs need a RHD and the thought process is they don't want to give up the big 3 to get it. Is this a potential solution?

I put this as a starting point if more or less picks need to be put in then so be it.

This is my thought process: if everything goes to plan, these will be high fringe first round picks. In my mind they are expendable, if the issue is the leafs need a top pairing D, get one that is under rated and give up what you can afford. Which is expiring contracts, and picks. I say spend what we can afford and leave the rest.

Severson is definitely not an answer.. he is offensive Dman who was scratched few times last season. He is not and answer and you marginally overpaid for guy like Severson.. you could get legit top-15 defender for that package..

you actually did pretty good in value but i doubt they move severson because there very fond of him. i think you guys should try the same sort of deal with less value at poach one of the RHD from carolina. You guys could probably turn TVR into a good top 4 Dman.
