Description
I don't want to look in to Howard Bergers reports with any type of importance, just having fun here. Something I think works for both sides as Gardiner does give the blues the offence they need. Toronto gets back a 1RD in Parayko, an obvious area of weakness for the leafs. Without having to give up any of the big 3, Toronto is able to take on 1 year of Bouwmeester to clear up some cap space for St. Louis, so they are able to flip the pick and prospects which Toronto sends there way, to a team like Columbus -- in exchange for a player like Panarin.

Just so people are aware before they freak out over not equal values here, Grundstrom is a sleeper. Kid is going to be an absolute savage in this league. As for Bracco he has showed he can play at any level. These are two great prospects. Leafs would have to do a sign and trade and I think they would have to add a 1st, maybe another roster player.

Blues wouldn't trade Parayko for Gardiner. Gardiner isn't as good either and is 3 years older? Nah. The Blues LD is solid at the moment. Without Nylander or Marner here, the Blues say no.

Marner or nylander??? Plus prospects and picks??? And a salary dump??? Never happening. There were trade talks going on between leafs and St. Louis for paryako but ran into the same problem of who to give up. St Lois needs some offence.

I didn't say plus prospects and picks. I'm just saying if the Leafs call asking for Parayko, that's where the value is and he wouldn't be gotten for.... whatever this is lol. We don't need LH d men.

Look, the Blues revamped their lineup and therefore now have no reason to trade Parayko. The Blues literally have all of the leverage in a Parayko trade and aren't trading him for scraps.
