I don't mind the Carolina deal, I am just not sure I see it happening. As well, I have a hard time seeing Paul Martin finding a spot in our lineup considering Andreas Borgmann is a much better skater and seems ready for another shot at the NHL after a superb AHL season and playoff run with the Marlies. If anything, I'd hope the Leafs would spend the money on someone like Mark Letetsu to provide depth at center and start at 4C.

Thats fair, I just heard that Mike has a love for Martin, I'm not going to lie, I didnt see much from him ( being in the smaller market ). I think leafs fans are a little too close to Gardiner to truly see his value. At the end of the day he is an offensive machine and Carolina is looking at shopping Faulk so I feel like he is a good replacement. Just a thought.
