Nylander is better than Hamilton.
Nylander has the ceiling of being an elite 2C or 1RW and will score 80+ in a season during his career.
Hamilton is going to have seasons where he scored double digit goals and gets 50 points. However, he'll also not play good defence and take a tonne of bad penalties.
To me I'd much rather find a cheaper alternative and keep Nylander because scoring goals is the hardest thing to do in hockey and he will produce way more offence than Hamilton.
