I'll start by saying that I think Klefbom is a big risk for the Bruins, as he's had some serious injury history in his career, already (at the young age of 24) and shown some inconsistent play. That said, if he can get healthy and find that level of play from 2016-2017, The Bruins make out very well here. Edmonton gets a PP QB who will surely help their last ranked PP (14.8%). Chiarelli is familiar with both Krug and Cehlarik, who could slot in as a winger with size anywhere in the top 9 for Edmonton. He's shown the ability to play both wings. Bruins don't acquire the 10th overall selection, like I've seen some mocks suggest, but they do get another 2nd in the deal, while shipping out the 3rd they acquired for Vatrano from Florida.

For the free agent signings, not much going on, besides some upgrading to the 4th line. Bruins sign local boy, Chris Wagner to a 1Y deal as well as a throw back to Thornton in Ryan Reaves. Acciari will sub in and out with Reaves and/or injury to the 4th line. Kuraly and Wagner's versatility to play W/C helps with this as well. If the Bruins need a more skilled player to slide up into the lineup, they can always utilize Providence, who would have Bjork, Senyshyn, Frederic, etc. to give looks to. They could always sign a tweener forward (like Agostino for example) as depth.

Bruins bring back Grzlecyk and Khudobin as their FA's and have plenty of cap space come the TDL if they are in it and look to add.

Lineup wise, Heinen slots up to play with Marchand and Bergeron. I think he fits well here, and showed last season he can be very effective and produce when put into a top 6 role. What better forward to play with than those two? Pastrnak is now able to slot down with Krejci and DeBrusk and potentially give the Bruins a better 1-2 punch. The Bruins can always load up if need be. JFK is the center that makes the team out of camp. He has one year remaining on his ELC, so I feel if he shows he is ready, they will give him first crack.

I like it.

Wonder if they would add a Heinen,/Bjork/ Senyshyn/ Zboril and Try to turn 2nd into 1st round pick.

I would lean towards Zboril because of Vaakanainen and Lauzon. If JFK struggles - you could use one of the wings to get 3rd line center.

I take it you mean adding one of those to the EDM deal and get the #10? I'm definitely not doing Heinen. I'd consider the other 3. Not sure they would do it though. I tried to keep that deal on the simpler side. Players that could be there at #10 overall would be:

Dobson, Wahlstrom, Farabee, Veleno, Kotkaniemi, Ty Smith, and Bode Wilde. I bolded the ones I'd be most interested in. I feel @ 10, Dobson and Wahlstrom are gone.

Love the 4th line! I need to see Bjork in the lineup however. Otherwise, I like it. If Bruins could get the 10th OA from Edmonton by adding a piece to the trade it would be even better.
