Sabres need players not people to flip in 6 months. Theyre not trying to be in an endless rebuild loop. Botterill is not expecting to be at the top of the draft again next year. They have enough prospects, they need ones who are maturing into NHLers or already established and they can keep

Fair enough, I tend to agree. But just so you understand, simply playing on a teams top pairing does not make you a top pairing dman. Scandella is a top 4 at BEST.

This is why this stuff is so fantastic..... I love hearing contradictory opinions. I actually think Scandella is a solid solid defenseman. It took him awhile to get comfortable and over the last 1/3 of the season his game was solid.

Again most people are still amazed that my wife said 'I do' and is still with me after so many years.
