If a deal like this could be swung (or a lesser one for either one or the other) would you do it? We keep Carlo who eats top 4 minutes on the right side as a 21 year old. We give up JFK, and Seny which hurts, but we have solid prospects coming up the chain on both wing and center.

Way too much for McDonagh. I get Nash is in this, but he's a UFA and walk at the end of the season. So you give up all that for an extra year of McDonagh? No thanks. These monster deals never happen at deadline time and for good reason. Too many moving parts. Also, why is Torey Krug the #7 defenseman?

Yeah I cant see this. 1st, 2nd, McQuaid for Nash makes sense. But the other 3 for McD is not close.

First time doing one on mobile, accidentally dragged Gryz above krug. And as for overpaying, I’ve seen analysts say anywhere from just a prospect +1st for McD to the entire farm for some teams. I feel for the bruins, this deal helps now (and next year with McD) without mortgaging the future (JFK hurts I’ll admit)
