Jeff Gorton and Glen Sather published a letter concerning the team's future to their fans. They want to have some youth. Here are some trade propositions which I think are interesting for the teams concerned. First of all, Ryan McDonagh has a no-trade clause, but I don't think he includes Tampa Bay in it because he can reunite with former teammates Dan Girardi and Ryan Callahan. First of all, it would give a boost to Tampa Bay's already good left side, which includes Mikhail Sergachev, who can be haunted by some mistakes he makes in the playoffs, and Brayden Coburn, who can miss a few games here and there. Tampa Bay's goal is to win a Stanley Cup, and in order to do that, they have to trade a first rounder, Slater Koekkoek (who is the most obvious one to go and who is still young) and Boris Katchouk (I know, he is good, but Tampa Bay has a ton of prospects, they will be fine at the end of the day). The other trade involves Michael Grabner, who can go to help a team with one of the worst penalty kills in the entire NHL, the Philadelphia Flyers. I think those trades could hurt them in the short term, but they can help in the long run.
