Your logic on NYI is flawed a couple of different ways. Yes, you'd have to take back Greiss for Howard. JHS hasn't been given up on, and if he had he could still fetch more than that. Howard needs salary retention in that structure of a trade. He is not that much of a significant upgrade

Green only goes to Tampa for their 2018 1st round pick nothing less, It would need to be Howard for Greiss Halak wont cut it. This summer Ericsson has a 19 team no trade list and i'd be surprised if the ISLES are on it.
