            I get that you think that Chiarelli is a shitty GM and dumb, which I concur to, because I’ve hated most of the moves he made, but even the dumbest GM’s (if they were on the Oilers) could figure out, we don’t need another LD, we are currently at 6/8 D that are LHD. So we’re does he even fit in lol?

            Holden is better than Gryba, Russell and Benning. Putting Holden in for any of those guys is a clear upgrade.

            EDIT: That is a lot for EDM to give up though, probably would get just a 3rd, MAYBE a 2nd

            Avs are not trading Compher who is a fixture as part of their new young core and a 2nd round pick for Hayes.

            This does nothing for them, just eat more cap and burn assets while not really upgrading the position

            Regardless, one of the only things that should be in Chiarelli’s mind is a right shot Top 4 Dman who can play the PP, or a shooting winger (preferably righty).. but then again, not much things are going on in that head as it is..
