Description

The first trade involves Tomas Plekanec and a 2018 3rd round pick from columbus. The second trade is a blockbuster, with Max Pacioretty going to NYI to improve the second-worst penalty kill. Going to Montreal are prospects Kieffer Bellows, who could replace Pacioretty's goalscoring one day, Josh Ho-Sang who is simply tired of playing in NYI, Sebastian Aho, a prospect who played a couple of games for NYI. Also, Cap dump Nikolai Kulemin could allow NYI to do the trade without a retained salary. Finally, Calgary's picks from the Travis Hamonic trade could make this trade more interesting.
