For Habs to land Tavares, think $100M over 7 years, which is more like $14.25; 2) underestimating (by quite a lot) what Bailey and Neal will get as UFAs. Each will get $6+M deals, likely more like $7M deals. You're a little low on Danault, too; 3) I like O'Reilly, but I wouldn't use Max AND Shaw AND a pick to get him. Buffalo is out of whack and has to move a centreman. He's the logical one. Maybe something like Max and Shaw for O'Reilly and Reinhart with the 3rd pick we got for Beaulieu thrown in; 4) You only have 20 players on your roster, so something has to give for you to get top grades.

Forget Brodie or Johnson, and one of O'Reilly, Neal or Bailey, add back in Mete and Jerabek and either McCarron or JDLR. I think that squares.

but took away our only Secondary Center who is also our best Faceoff winner consistently.

he leads us 2nd in goals , top 3 in points , draws penalties , wins faceoffs and has been a true leader
and people want to give him away like he's Hudon just struggling to be noticed .
