we keep adding youth to the lineup and allowing us to keep growing from the bottom up we shed Jacob Trouba by dishing Kako to a rebuilding team where he will get tons of ice time and Blackhawks absorb Jacob Troubas cap hit because they aren't going to be competitive anytime soon. We add a decent right winger in jake Debusk who grinds and does some dirty work which we need, and he is young which is great Aswell. for the defenseman side I just added Chad but we should look into getting a cheap big defenseman that could help zac jones and help him grow even more we have a good young D core that we should keep together and keep letting them grow. Unpopular opinion but I think that we should keep Goodrow for the third line hes a gritty player and has the size and does the things that this team needs. I think the foruth line is great will cuyle physical player does the dirty work with rempe good on the forecheck and with Johnny we have more speed on that line Aswell and to be a mentor to help those two young guys grow even more and take and even bigger step.
