Does Mayfield make sense if he were to waive? A few notes:

- He wouldn't cost much to acquire
- When he is playing well, he is a top 60 RHD in the NHL
- Besides this past season (he was injured since the first game), he has been a reliable defensive defenseman who is great on the penalty kill
- Not a lot of options in the RHD market and it could be a way to acquire one for cheap
- Hasnt had a true top 4 role on a team since the Islanders have Pulock and Dobson
