Marner to NYR doesn’t work. We’ve been down this path for 2 years now. Only possible options are for Panarin straight up which isn’t happening(2xNMC). Or.. for Trouba and Goodrow but again, trade clauses get in the way. Marner 75% retained could work but they aren’t paying a price close to what you want so it’s a no on that front.

I really need to copy and paste this for the next 300 proposals that are identical

I wouldn't trade Lafreniere for Marner straight up, let alone throw in Schneider. Laf is cost controlled and has the ability to be a point per game, top line winger who actually shows up during the playoffs.
