Marner trade isn't bad, but aint no way the Leafs are giving 4 mill to Brodie and Zucker lol. Huge waste of cap space.

Yeah. I made that trade because the leafs would want it but I don't think calgary would that much and being a flames fan i hope they would say no to that trade

Trading Tavares for Skinner doesn't make the team better. Weakens the center depth, and Skinner's production hasn't been consistent at all, maybe he comes with 40pts the following season if he's playing in Toronto. Tavares has had a dip in production but I think you can expect that it would be similar, maybe he even rebounds. They would also be taking on the additional 2-years of Skinner's deal instead of freeing up Tavares 11M or a significant portion if he is re-signed.

Would be silly for the Leafs to give up the best player and a 1st pick, if Marner isn't enough for Andersson+ Markstrom, you would give other pieces to make up the difference if that's your goal. Personally, don't like the trade for the Leafs at all.
