Description
I will be saying what the best trade from each team is and saying the price and stats for the rest/end of the season and playoffs (if necessary) and beyond if they stayed (For some players the salary cap is too low for league minimum and each player will have the cap they had when they were acquired)

(HM means honorable mention, and WPG will count for the Jets and Thrashers will not count)

I had 3 players that were, in my opinion, the best trades throughout the season, I will rank them from best to worst (saying the stats from the best trade)

ANA Francois Beauchemin. (Beauchemin was acquired from CBJ with Tyler Wright in exchange for Sergei Fedorov and a 5th-round pick. Beauchemin after being acquired in 2005-06 had 34 points in 61 games, and 9 points in 16 playoff games in 05-06 in 531 games after the trade (in 3 separate stints) he put up 162 points in that span, as well as 30 points in 85 playoff games, pretty good for a D-man. HM Adam Henrique and Patrick Eaves)
ARI Antoine Vermette, (Vermette was acquired by ARI/PHX from CBJ in exchange for Curtis McElhenney, a 2nd and a 4th. Vermette after being acquired in 2011-12 had 10 points in 22 games as well as 10 points in 16 games, (which was his playoff appearance as a Yote) and in 269 games after the trade (in 2 separate stints) Vermette put up 139 points, good for a 2nd line center on a bad team HM Nick Schmaltz and Derek Morris)
BOS Charlie Coyle, (Coyle was acquired from MIN in 2018-19, in exchange for Ryan Donato, and a 2019 conditional 4th. Coyle after being acquired put up 6 points in 21 games but in the playoffs, he put up 16 points in 24 games, and in 367 games after the trade he put up 202 points, very solid for a depth center. HM Hampus Lindholm and Dennis Seidenberg)
BUF Bowen Byram, (Even though Byram was acquired this past deadline in exchange for Casey Mittelstadt, he put up 9 points in 18 games, very good for a young defenseman and a potential stacked D-core. HM Alex Tuch and Jordan Greenway)
CGY Matt Stajan, (Stajan was acquired from TOR with Ian White, Jamal Mayers, and Niklas Hagman, in exchange for Dion Phaneuf, Fredrik Sjostrom, and Keith Aulie, in the 2009-10 season, after being acquired by CGY in 2009-10 Stajan put up 16 points in 27 games, and in 531 games after the trade, Stajan put up 174 points, and in the playoffs, he put up 4 points in 14 playoff games, he was acquired as a middle 6 center and did good. HM Tyler Toffoli and Kristen Huselius)
CAR Brady Skjei, (Skjei was acquired during the 2019-20 season from NYR in exchange for a 1st, Skjei put up 1 point in 7 games after being acquired (due to COVID the season was cut short) and in 295 after being acquired Skjei put up 134 points, solid for a top 4 D-man. HM Vincent Trocheck, and Nino Niederreiter)
CHI Nick Leddy (CHI was hard to find a good trade during the season but Nick Leddy was the best of the bunch, he was acquired in the 2009-10 season from MIN with Kim Johnsson in exchange for Cam Barker, Leddy did not play his 1st game with CHI until the next season, in 258 games with them he put up 93 points, not the best outcome but he was more of a middle to bottom pair guy in CHI, won a cup at least. HM Michael Frolik and Kris Versteeg)
COL Samuel Girard, (Girard was involved in the 3-team deal that sent Duchene to OTT during the 2017-18 season [I'm not putting all the details in] after being acquired Girard in 470 games as an Av he put up 196 points, and during the playoffs, in 51 games he put up 22 points good for an Offensive Defensemen. HM Arturri Lehkonen and Erik Johnson)
CBJ Seth Jones, (Seth Jones was a part of the 1-for-1 deal with NSH in the 2015-16 season straight up for Ryan Johansen, and in 41 games since being acquired, Jones put up 20 points in 41 games, and in 340 games after the trade, Jones had 203 points and in the playoffs, Jones put up 20 points in 31 playoff games for the Jackets, outstanding production all-around. HM Patrik Laine and Antoine Vermette)
DAL Kari Lehtonen, (Lehtonen was traded in a fleecing trade with ATL in the 2009-10 season in exchange for Ivan Vishnevsky, and a 4th, after being acquired during the 2009-10 season Lehtonen played in 12 games and went 6-4-0 with 2.81 goals against and a .911 SV%, after the trade, Lehtonen played 433 games and went 210-146-50 and during the playoffs, Lehtonen played in 17 games for Dallas and went 8-9 with 3.30 goals against and .887 SV%, not a great playoff record but great regular season numbers as the starter in Dallas. HM Brad Richards and Alex Goligoski)
DET Jake Walman (Like CHI. DET I had a hard time finding good trades during the season, but Jake Walman was the best trade that happened, he was acquired during the 2021-22 season from STL along with Oskar Sundqvist and a 2nd in exchange for Nick Leddy and Luke Witkowski, and after he was acquired during the 2021-22 season Walman had 4 points in 19 games and after the trade Walman in 126 games put up 35 points, no playoff experience but he has been great in DET. Eliminated, or B. Win the Cup, Ekholm has been fantastic as an Oiler. HM Patrick Maroon and Brett Kulak)
FLA Sam Bennett (Bennett was acquired during the 2020-21 season from CGY with a 6th in exchange for Emil Heineman and a 2nd, Bennett after the trade put up 15 points in 10 games, and in the playoffs, Bennett put up 5 points in 5 games, and the seasons after the trade Bennett in 203 games he put up 130 points and during the playoffs, Bennett put up 18 points in 30 playoff games with the Panthers, and with the playoffs still going on we won't have Bennett's complete totals until after A. They get eliminated or B. They win the Cup, very good for the Panthers top 6. HM Jaromir Jagr and Claude Giroux)
LA Jeff Carter (Jeff Carter was acquired during the 2011-12 season from CBJ in exchange for Jack Johnson and a 1st, Carter after being acquired by LA had 9 points in 16 games, and during the playoffs, Carter put up 13 points in 20 games to win the Kings 1st Stanley Cup, after the trade Carter played 564 games and put up 374 and during the playoffs in 66 games he put up 50 points, this trade was by far the Kings best trade during the season. HM Justin Williams and Vladislav Gavrikov)
MIN Devan Dubnyk (Dubnyk was acquired during the 2014-15 season from ARI in exchange for a 3rd, Why Dubnyk? Dubnyk after being acquired by MIN played in 39 games and went 27-9-2 and had 1.78 goals against and a .936 SV% during the playoffs, he went 4-6 with 2.52 goals against and .902 SV% not the best but the seasons after the trade in 289 games he went 150-104-26 and his playoffs weren't great but in the 2016-17 playoffs he had 1.86 goals against and .925 SV% in 6 games, a starting Vezina caliber goalie for a 3rd that's great value. HM Keven Fiala and Jason Pominville)

I'm happy for you or I'm sorry for your loss. Whatever covers what is written here.

Zadorov is NOT one of our best acquisitions. Lafferty has been way better and only cost a 5th. Also JT Miller trade was pretty good.
For Nashville, I’d say Ryan McDonagh is up there for best trade, didn’t cost much…

Kessel trade is probably the best trade in PIT.
Hard to argue those facts. Without him they don't win 2 cups.
