    Unfortunately Habs only have one retention spot for next season
    I don't think they would use it in an Armia offseason trade since the return would be meh.
    They probably hold on to it until deadline where they could cash in more retaining Salary; whether its Armia or another player (Savard, Dvorak)

    Agree, Dvo with retention is a not bad contract

    Armia cost a 2/3rd without retention

    Thats a good point i didnt even consider. what would the return be for him full salary then, the sens couldnt afford to do that in this scenario but just wondering
