Description

Pat Verbeek said he wants to start spending money this year to make the Ducks more competitive and make strides towards being a playoff team again. Don't be surprised if he is aggressive with the large amount of cap space he has. Pesce would be a good RHD to add and spending big bucks to get Reinhart would give the Ducks another weapon on a PP that has been very anemic the last few years. Didn't bother filling in the non-roster stuff, but let me know what you think of my lines and PP/PK units

Money is no object . . . I would give anything to get those guys under contract.

Some bottom-fillers are missing . . . I think that we will sign all of our RFAs (Lundestrom, Jones, Groulx, LaCombe, Vaakanainen, Lindstrom) but that's just roster-filling.

So Reinhart leaves tax free Florida for the highest taxed state in the nation California, Yeah I don't think so. Florida could offer Reinhart $7,500,000 and he'd still take home more than in California.

And try more like 7x7m for Brett Pesce.

Gauthier will be on an ELC, so it maxes under $1M. There may be bonuses, but still, he’s can’t sign a base $2.5M deal

Both FAs will go for more in the open market, and that’s not accounting for the extra incentive ANA would have to throw at them to lure them to us

Gaucher isn’t NHL ready

Luneau barely played hockey this year, I hope we don’t rush him and let him develop in SD
