I think you have underpaid some of the RFAs. And you really think Sekera and Russel can be traded easily just because Oilers need cap. Contenders have cap issues too. And Sekera may nix any trade to non contender.

I'm not sure you'd get Caggiula and Slepyshev to sign those contracts, and I'm very sure you won't get Nurse, Benning and Strome at those prices. Especially when they see the overpay you gave Maroon... Dylan1995 is right, 2 x $3 (or even 3 x $3) is fair. 8 x $3 for the 30-year-old, but 1- or 2-years for the guys with a positive future? Ludicrous!

Maroon would be a two year deal, Nurse, Brossoit and Strome deserve more.

I guess my thinking was sign Maroon long term would get the price lower. I guessed 2-3 years would be 4 mil plus fo Maroon. If he regresses this year maybe it's lower.

I think the other contracts could be higher but it's only a year or two length so why not. I don't think these are going to be massive.

Strome oilers may not be able to sign for so low that I agree but then he maybe traded.

Plus I think Russel and Sekera are tradable. They are not brutal. Would be lower draft picks but they are useful. Sekera or Russel would be assets to Colorado
