these all feel like short-selling the Coyotes' players.
-Schmaltz was nearly a PPG player the past two seasons and even in a slower year is still playing at a 50 point pace - that's solid 2C territory. I think, with his term, he gets more back then a post-hype prospect and a mid-2nd rounder.
-Can't see them having too much interest in Mikheyev's 2x$4.75M remaining in exchange for Zucker. The 3rd probably does it, maybe a little more if you make them use a retention slot on him.
-ABB hasn't proven himself to be more than a 13th forward type; Philippe Myers is a 7th D at best, and Gage Goncalves might be something but doesn't look there yet. Again, I think that the Coyotes do better for Dumba than a pupu platter of middling pieces.
-eh sure Brown & Stecher are worth 5ths, fine with that.
-not sure how I feel on this one. Bjugstad's value is harder to gauge - he was valuable last year as a $450K retained contract, this year he's making $2.1M and has an extra year of term - but he's producing at a stronger rate. I don't hate this value but honestly I think Arizona is better off keeping him.
