Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Y2 - spend BIG on rebuilding the D, take some F bargain gambles. Next year ELCs will supplement F core greatly. For now, Cowan/Minten develop in the AHL for one season. Hope Robertson can keep it up and stick.

Trade bait pieces: 2024 first round pick (whoever we chose), Niemela (good but no shot of cracking this new right side), can use to supplement F core at TDL as needed. Could use to get a LW if either Robertson or Brown struggle, or a C if the LW's struggle and you want to move JT to wing, or for a goalie if i'm wrong about Woll. Would look to get someone one a good deal with at least 2 years term though, whether that means you just give up the 1st or both 1st and Niemela. Of course if things go well retaining assets would be good, next couple years after this will be loaded with 2 ELC contributors inbound and cap raises.

Banking on Woll progressing into a quality starter - I have very high hopes for him, love his game from a mindset and technical perspective. Also wanted to build a purposeful 4th line all with at least a couple years term to hopefully get some consistency there.
