As someone who watches both teams, Not really a fit for the Avs. Lacking defensively but can jump up into the play like the Avs like.

Why don't you think he'd fit the Avs? If he jumps into the play isn't that what they like to see from their Dmen? Heck even Graves was encouraged to activate on the rush

There is a lot more than jumping into the play that the avs value and they have a lot of guys who already do that a higher level than Joker. He doesn't break up incoming plays to the extent the Avs do, his d-zone ability is bad and gets caught puck watching or just out of position. Ryan Graves played some dang good defense. You gotta start with your basic job duties before you try and take on extracurriculars.
