I actually thought about trying a similar AGM. Here's what I'll say; if Vrana picks up where he left off with the Blues combined with his low cap hit? Chances are he'll go for a 1st and I don't think Dubas is going to move any more 1sts unless it's another hockey deal.

If a 2nd and 3rd gets it done, I could see it being more realistic from the Pens' side, but again, I expect a bidding war for him if he continues where he left off.

Trading for him was a VERY wise move that will pay off huge for you guys. Even Kapanen would probably net you something decent, not a first, but depending on the season he's having, you could get a 2nd a 3rd. Those were probably moves that didn't make sense to Blues fans last year, but it will make sense this deadline for sure.
