- David Spacek is a rising RHD that was difficult to giveaway; however, I needed enough value to obtain Raddysh.
- Matej Blümel is a young winger that lit the AHL up last season but became expendable with the amount of depth I have at his position.
- Noel Gunler is another casualty of the logjam we have on the wing.
+ Taylor Raddysh is the next Brandon Hagel with a cap hit that's below league min.
+ Boris Katchouk is a grinder with a cap hit that's below league min.
+ Filip Roos is a large LHD that's young, cheap, & waiver-exempt.
25/06/2023: Traded Duhaime to TBL for '23 4th (TBL)
- Brandon Duhaime has grown into a valuable 4th liner that we are unfortunately unable to resign due to limited cap space.
19/07/2023: Traded Rossi to TOR for '24 1st (DET)
- Marco Rossi was the Wild's highest draft pick since 2012 with a well-rounded game that should transition nicely as a two-way 2C. We wish him all the best in TOR.
+ 2024 1st (DET) adds draft capital that the Wild can use as bait once the dead cap era ends.

- Ronnie Attard is a large, physical, offensive RHD that has put up stellar numbers the past 2 seasons; however, due to a logjam at the position, I figured it'd be best to send him back home.

- Merrill is a solid 3rd line defensemen, great locker room guy and even better character. Unfortunately, I got crazy acquiring a bunch of defensemen last season and now need to thin the heard.
02/08/2023: Traded Hartman & Légaré to CHI for Foerster & Spacek
- Hartman has grown into a solid Top 6 F that saw his game grow from a 4th line RW to centering our top line. I will probably regret this trade in a few months.
+ Speaking of regrettable trades, Spacek was accidentally traded to CHI because my brain decided to hit snooze that day. He's back now so let's all pretend like nothing ever happened.
+ Foerster is a former 1st rd pick with one of the hardest shots in the league, a hulking frame, and high compete to help reinforce our middle 6.

- Taylor Raddysh was meant to be the next Brandon Hagel with a cap hit that's below league min; however, that comparison fell flat after watching the two more.
- Boris Katchouk is a grinder with a cap hit that's below league min.
+ Brandon Hagel is an upgraded version of Fiala that can cover Boldy while he's on IR then pair with him once he's back to form one of the deadliest lines in the NHL.
29/10/2023: Traded '26 7th (MIN) to ARI for Dakota Mermis
+ Bring back Dakota Mermis as he's done a tremendous job for the Wild irl during a time when our D is riddled with injuries.
31/10/2023: Traded Tyson Foerster & Matthew Seminoff to PHI for Aaron Pionk, Arttu Kärki, & '24 2nd (NSH)
- Tyson Foerster is a good bottom 6 player who just didn't factor into the Wild's future as originally thought. He's best served remaining in Philly.
- Matthew Seminoff is an interesting prospect but one I'm not sure will ever make it to the NHL. Especially not with the talent we have ahead of him.
+ Aaron Pionk has gotten have to a hot start this season at Duluth and was drafted by the Wild irl.
+ Arttu Kärki is a boom-or-bust prospect with high offensive upside & top 4 D potential that needs to work on his defensive game & his compete level (e.g. a 6'2" Addison).
+ '24 2nd helps improve our lackluster draft capital after having spent most of our 2024 picks on players that can help the team immediately.
16/11/2023: Traded Pavel Novak & a '26 4th (VAN) to CGY for Radim Zohorna & a '24 6th (CGY)
- Pavel Novak is an inspiration to those battling cancer, he's successfully fought it off and is back on the ice. Unfortunately, I don't see him having much of an opportunity with this team.
+ Radim Zohorna is a large, physical player whose a surprisingly good skater. He can play all 3 F positions and improves our bottom 6.

+ Acquire another prospect the Wild drafted irl
18/11/2023: Traded Mason Shaw, Mark Kastelic, Nick Perbix, Filip Roos, & '27 2nd (MIN) to CHI for Ryan Hartman, '24 & '26 7th (CHI)
- Losing Mason Shaw hurts but if it means bringing back Hartman, so be it.
- Mark Kastelic is a PK/FOW machine but has been replaced by Lettieri, Fasching, & now Hartman
- Nick Perbix regressed this season and even tho his cap hit is low, MIN can only afford depth pieces earning min. wage.
- Filip Roos goes back to CHI, I had high hopes for him but getting Hartman back just makes sense.
+ Ryan Hartman is back bb! I knew I'd regret trading him and am now the frontrunner for Worst GMOTY.

- Uvis Balinskis has been a great player that I got from FA but I couldn't pass up an extra pick, especially as more players come back from injury

- Radim Zohorna provided great value; however, added to overwhelming number of lefties I have on my roster. If he were a righty, he'd still be on the team.
+ Rasmus Kupari is a former 1st rd pick that brings speed, skill, a hard shot, a high FOW%, & a right-handed option.
18/12/2023: Traded Jonas Røndbjerg, Hoyt Stanley, Daimon Gardner, '25 2nd (MIN), '25 2nd (FLA) to DET for William Wallinder, Victor Söderström, '24 7th (DET)
- Jonas Røndbjerg is a promising young winger but I have an abundance of lefties that need to be moved.
- Hoyt Stanley is a promising RHD that has a bright future.
- Daimon Gardner is a utility player drafted in the 4th rd that should serve Detroit well.
- 2 '25 2nd rd picks hurts but it's the price to pay for NHL-ready Dmen with high upsides.
+ William Wallinder is a LHD taken late in the 1st rd with size, decent skill, and high compete that projects to be a 2nd pair defenseman in the NHL.
+ Victor Söderström is a RHD taken 11th overall pick in 2019 with skill, creativity, and offensive upside that has struggled in the NHL but could develop into a 2nd pair Dman with PP potential.

+ Declan Chisholm is a fine 3rd pair D that looked good during his short stint with the Wild this season. I expect his PP time to diminish with the return of Spurgeon but who knows.
