Adding kuzy

Roslovic and a second would be a trade I’d be happy with as a caps fan. A useful middle 6 player and an early second would be a good return at this point.

I did one the other day where Washington received Roslovic, Blankenburg, and a middle round pick (4th or 5th.) Thought was the Caps get another youngish depth defenseman that could be a regular bottom 4 defenseman one day, and the Blue Jackets help clear some of the logjam on the right side of the defense

Kuzy won’t cost that much especially without rentention. Duchene is coming off a better season and had a similar contract and got bought out and signed for 3 million. The only teams that can afford Kuzys cap hit are non playoff teams who won’t have any interest in taking him without a pick attached.
