Okay, I was think about adding prospects and a first on the leafs side but I think that makes no sense because avs are in win now mode so I left it as it was. The trade I had in mind was

But the futures going to avs don’t make sense because of win now mode. They want impactnplayers now. That’s why I left it

I mean, I still think the Avs would take prospects and picks on top of an existing offer. They’re in win now mode but they’re not going to take lesser offers for no reason just bc there are also futures included.

Avs would just extend Toews at that contract and keep both guys.

yeah, nothing really the leafs can offer that makes sense for lehky in that trade. as always, the toews - nylander trade values line up okay at best (toews is older but elite at premium position, nylander is younger but wing-only) but do not address team needs at all
