Description

Might be time to end the Karlsson trades.

Three team trade with Anaheim and Minnesota: Penguins shed half of Petry's cap hit to get younger and better on the blue line. They pay the Ducks to retain $1,562,000 who then send him to the Wild. The Wild take Petry at a great value and get a veteran presence after Dumba leaves as well as Power Play help.

Dubas who is looking to still improve the roster, trades with Calgary for two players (can adjust trade with alternate prospects and/or draft picks).

Winnipeg claims DeSmith after a possible Hellebuyck trade.

Hopefully he finds a way to rid the roster of Jeff Carter...

Can I just say something not related to the trades or anything. Will Butcher is a really underrated signing imo. He was a pretty consistent 30 point guy except the last year he was in the NHL in the 21-22 season. I hope we give him a chance because I think he could be an underrated signing.

I think we should look elsewhere than Backlund for 3C. The team is so old already, not saying we can't sign older players but should try and get younger where we can

I agree, I wish they got younger. Looks like Dubas is betting on veterans to support the core better than most younger players.
