That trade does nothing for COL. They decline easily.

I'm an outsider, so my opinion doesn't carry much weight, but I don't see a single one of those trades making your team better.

Devils decline. LD is not a need and Greer is dime a dozen.

i think it actually does a bunch for us. Most of our D and D prsopects are puck movers(malinski & berhens), girard is also the most expendable of the D on the left side. Carlo brings size and grit which would make manson movable without hurting the right side as well now. They are both signed to the same length of contract and we'd save a mil for our cap issues. while gaining a prospect.

I'm not opposed to Carlo, but this is essentially a swap of D-men and the Avs don't really need to move D unless it brings a Top 6 forward or a bunch of assets that can be flipped for one. I also don't see Manson being that movable (assuming he waives his clause). We need to find some established players, not prospects, to strengthen the bottom six.
