Description

Trades:
FLA - Panthers come looking for a RHD with the injuries they face going into next season and get a known commodity in Rutta.
SEA - Kraken look to move up in the draft while also moving on from Driedger's contract. DeSmith is a cheaper and reliable backup for them behind Grubauer.
VGK - Hill and Brossoit return and Vegas capitalizes on moving Thompson for a younger and cheaper LHD (after unloading Martinez).
CGY - Hanifin becomes a top four improvement for the Penguins and signs an extension. Can adjust trade if needed.

Bottom-six is mostly rebuilt through UFAs. Based on comments from Dubas, I think he will look for a younger/cheap tandem in net and try to catch lightning in a bottle. I don't think he will go all in on Hellebuyck/Saros/Gibson.
