Assuming I'm not missing anything, this would leave the Rangers with about 8 mil in cap space to resign Miller + Laf
THEN they'd still have to sign a backup goalie and then have 3 more roster spots to fill. Just simply wouldn't work money wise without other moves, and that's before you consider they're trading 3 core(ish) pieces for a year of Matthews.
