That’s an intriguing Rossi trade, I wouldn’t do it but it’s got legs. There’s something about the 2nd going to WSH that makes me not like it for the Wild but it’s fair value.

I just think Rossi is due for his career to get going but this is a good one.

I assume that he needs a new start and Wild could draft Dvorsky or Benson as a similar ceiling replacement. I think the 40oa pick would have been too much so I had Wild just move up 2x. Maybe Washington adds something small?

Maybe the Wild send back the VGK 2nd? But I don’t think the values are off, I’m just not sold on Dvorsky >= Rossi, I think Rossi’s ceiling is higher and we can probably find a 2/3C at 21, even if they may be a longer shot than Dvorsky.

But I don’t do the trade for the same reason you’re offering it up….
