Josh wont be on the market when they are getting PLD. After Bedard mania, it will be PLD mania and the rebuild will be an afterthought. Like it or not, Hughes seems to think fans wont put up with another tanking season. He may be right.

The 1st is on the wrong side of the ledger, but even if you switched it Edmonton wouldn't do the trade. They're in win now mode, not in the business of taking on cap dumps.
