I don't see either team doing this. Leafs like Engvall and Holmberg quite a bit.
Washington isn't getting proper value for Jensen.

Jensen to the Leafs is definitely possible though. I don't see the need for Sheary though.

Those are two eminently reasonable trade targets for the Maple Leafs. Whether that's the right package for them or not may be seen. My understanding is that Washington wants at least a second for Jensen and at least a fourth for Sheary. And again, whether they get that remains to be seen.

Jensen imo gets a 2nd +. Sheary gets a 3rd

This is a huge underpayment. For Jensen and Sheary combined, I’d imagine the return is a first and a prospect like Niemela, Robertson, or Villeneuve. And I’m sure the caps would be willing to take back as much salary as you need to dump in that deal and retain on Jensen.
