avs are not trading newhook for Nelson.

They cant afford that cap swap and with the way newhook is taking off right now, hes hitting his stride as a potenital 2c level talent. Makes no sense for the avs. Like nelson but the only trade bw the 2 teams for him is girard, not their cheaper cost controlled playyers

I really like Nelson as 2C but they can't fit his full $6M in. Maybe with retention but given how Newy has seemed to find his game he may quickly becoming untouchable again. During this 6-game winning streak he has 4G/2A/6P +5 -- and that's mostly centering the 3rd line. I'm really excited to see how he does centering Landy/Nuke when everyone is back. He may make the 2C argument moot by the end of the year.
