      Moving Backlund is not going to happen though. Meier is a great fit for this team but they simply can't afford him and they won't dump core players to do it. Dube, Kylington, and Vladar are the only players that might be moved before the start of next year. I expect they end up going after Konecny if they want someone with term, or Tarasenko if they want a high end rental (ofc that depends on if the Blues sell or not)

      I like that package for Couture, but with Backstrom progressing as well as he has, I'm pretty sure the Caps are out of the market for a center now
