There is nothing of interest there for the leafs. Not in a nylander trade anyway.

Well, you've managed to create a REALLY bad trade for the Leafs while gutting the Los Angeles defense, which in that form would be lucky to escape a first-round sweep. Part of the defensive weakness is that you traded Matt Roy away for absolutely no reason and forgot to sign two other key defenders -- RFAs Mikey Anderson and Sean Durzi, so there would be no need to acquire castoffs like Subban, Beaulieu and DeKeyser.

Your second sentence is an essential qualification, I think. Iafallo (if you could afford his cap hit) would be precisely the 200-foot defensively responsible LW with some scoring punch you need, and he has term; Chromiak is a better prospect than Ovchinnikov; Lemieux would give you some added "grit"; Anderson-Dolan is a better prospect than Abbruzzese or Steeves; and the first is nothing to sneeze at. All that being said, the package doesn't aggregate to Willie Nylander's value.

Agree with some of this. Don't want Lemieux. I'd take Steeves over Anderson Dolan. The first is fine but it was pushed to 24 and should be late (if the defense is put together right) keep Roy sign durzi, Anderson and Sandin. Move walker forget about pk.

The other prospect swap is fine. Hard to say who will be better in the nhl But chromiak certainly looks more promising. Iafallo would work well with the leafs... opposite of nylander.
