trade deadline

If you are willing to retain on Murphy, that is a guy the Leafs SHOULD be all over at the deadline, more than Teows (need another forward like a hole in the head, even if it is a less than prime Teows playing 3rd line).

I would sign off on Amirov and the 2nd for Murphy with retention in a heartbeat.

Murphy is money.

While I mostly agree and feel the urge to push forward the unique tenets of diverse mechanisms in that ethos I also understand that rivers do not have an end nor do they ever lend themselves to over-analysis and hot dogs. this path is rarely taken in the snow and it never seems to catch the whimsical presence of ladders in space. This I will never get and that pains me to no ends or pepsi will never match the brilliant swiftness of RC.

I don’t see the point in trading a 2nd for a depth player who we could’ve signed this offseason.

Stars aren’t contenders, and wasting a 2nd on someone that does absolutely nothing to change that doesn’t seem like a good idea.

It’d probably be smarter to move that 2nd to get rid of Dobby so they have plenty of cap to sign Robertson.

AA would have to have a pretty good year to pull a second. I’d be fine with him for a third. Like Eso said, Stars aren’t legit contenders so giving up first and second round picks isn’t a great idea

as a preds fan, i like this trade, but if the hawks are taking on ryjo's contract and asking CHI to retain on kane, we'd probably need to add another asset in there. I also kind of want to keep ryjo, considering his recent 60+pt season
